Mark Taylor lands 4 beauties to 29lb from Cherry Lake.
Thursday 19 November 2015
As mentioned in yesterday’s posting, we have been away for several weeks relaxing in Thailand, leaving Cherry Lakes in fishery manager Dave Bowen’s capable hands. Although we have been less busy than last year, the fishing has been much better. The majority of anglers having caught.
Mark Taylor was the most successful angler on Cherry Lake during our holiday. Mark fished out of Osprey Lodge, enjoying a short holiday with his partner Sarah Bramley, and landed 4 cracking Carp, which all evidently looked in great condition, comprising of a 25-05 and a 23-00 Mirrors, an 18lb Common and this stunning 29-00 Mirror below.
I have included two photos of this 29lb Mirror (one from either side) as I am unable to find a past photo of this fish. If any of our guests recognise this Carp could you please let me know (info@cherrylakes.co.uk) when you caught it and at what weight. A past photo would be even better. Judith says my eyesight as well as memory is going!!
Cherry Springs has also been producing very steadily with a lot of doubles to 18lb being reported to Dave. Watch this space next week for some exciting news on Cherry Springs.
