Mandy beats her PB twice on Cherry Springs

Craig and Mandy Brown recently spent a week on Kingfisher Lodge on Cherry Springs and they had a real result, landing 39 Carp,of which 27 were doubles, including three Carp over 20lb.

Mandy did particularly well. Not only has she only taken up fishing over the last couple of years, she is also courageously battling Multiple Sclerosis, and I think she is an inspiration to us all. Mandy managed to smash her previous best of 14lb, a number of times including first a 20lb Mirror and then her new PB a Mirror of 20-14. Not to be outdone Craig landed the biggest  of their holiday at 21lb. See the pictures below.

Craig and Mandy, who have already re-booked, were on their first visit to Cherry Lakes. I particularly liked their first paragraph in the visitors book, so I have taken the liberty to replicate it here…….

‘On arrival at Cherry Lakes it was ‘WOW’ what a beautiful place, and then when we saw the Lodge and Cherry Springs it was a ‘Double WOW!’. ‘It is obvious that a great deal of thought, time, money and effort have been ploughed into this fantastic venue’.
