First Daffodil puts in an appearance! Almost a double!
Sunday 4 March 2018
With the Siberian weather we have been having thee is no real fishing activity to talk about. So rather than writing about the fishing, I thought I would report on Cherry Lakes first Daffodil of the new year (but it does not look like a double!). This particular Daffodil came from the north bank on Cherry Springs!
I am pleased to say that as I write this on Sunday afternoon the sun is shinning, it is 8C and the ice and snow have almost all gone. Looking at the long range weather forecast it is clear we have now broken the back of winter and should be now on a slow warming trend. Many of you will be itching to go fishing after such a long miserable winter.
I am conscious that not everyone is familiar yet with Availability calendar on the website. So I thought I would be helpful and highlight some forthcoming vacancies during March just in case you fancy a visit.

Next time I hope to talk more about the fishing. So as a reminder of last March, I have repeated a couple of shots of two lovely Carp taken a year ago.
